Open Textbook Workshop - Wednesday, December 11, 12-1:30pm - Central Library 109
Join our Pressbooks workshop series to learn everything from the basics of creating and adapting OER to advanced techniques for enhancing your projects with multimedia, interactivity, and collaborative features. Whether you're starting your first OER project or looking to deepen your skills, our sessions will guide you through essential tools, best practices, and future directions in OER publishing.
Enhance your understanding of accessibility in OER with our two-part workshop series. The first session covers the importance of accessibility, legal requirements, and design principles, while the second session dives into practical applications, including evaluating and improving accessibility in your materials. Together, these workshops will equip you with the knowledge and tools to create inclusive, accessible educational resources for all learners.
This fall, we're excited to introduce our new OER webinar series—dynamic, one-hour virtual sessions designed to spark conversations and ideas. Each webinar will be divided into two parts: the first half will deliver targeted content, while the second half will be an open forum for questions, discussions, and idea-sharing. Although each session is tailored to specific stakeholders, everyone is welcome to participate and contribute. Whether you're looking to learn, connect, or innovate, these webinars are for you!
All sessions presented virtually on Teams
Please note that attendees must join the Open Educational Resources Microsoft Team to view and use the chat function during virtual sessions. All virtual sessions are hosted via the Teams platform, and recordings are available in the UTA Workshops channel of the OER Team.
