In June 2018, Mavs Open Press published our first OER. Creating Online Learning Experiences: A Brief Guide to Online Courses, from Small and Private to Massive and Open was a collaborative project led by Dr. Matt Crosslin of UTA's LINK Research Lab.
Press:
Because books published with Mavs Open Press on the Pressbooks platform are available for free online, students far beyond Arlington are able to access and benefit from material written by UTA faculty. The map below shows Google Analytics data for some of the Mavs Open Press books available on Pressbooks. Mavs Open Press books are not only discoverable in Google searches but are also indexed in major OER repositories including the Open Textbook Library, MERLOT, and OERTX.
Drag the map image to move around, and scroll to the right using the scrollbar below the map to filter results by book.
