Finally, the last metric to look at is that H5-Index. The reason that the H5 is a little better than the regular h-Index is that rather than just looking at one year, the H5 looks at the h-index from the past 5 years to get a better idea of the journal’s impact over time.
You can find the h5-index through Google Scholar Metrics. In Google Scholar, hit the 3 parallel lines to the left of the GS logo and then navigate down to Metrics.
Then, you can search for the journal, and Google Scholar will provide the h5-index.
