K-12 Learning Experience at UTA Libraries

Reference, Research and Database Instruction

Intended for older students (9th- 12th grades) this trip is intended to introduce them to the UTA Central Library. We will go over proper research methods, database searching, the importance of citation and how to cite resources correctly. Students will have the opportunity to get a UTA Library card, allowing them to check out materials from the Central Library. 

Students will need to bring a Parental Consent Youth Borrower Form in order to use the UTA Central Library's resources during (and after) their trip.
