You can download Zotero for Windows, macOS, and 32 bit or 64 bit Linux from the Zotero Downloads page. For iOS you can download it from the App Store.
You will also need to sign up for a free account with Zotero.

Zotero Connector is one of the most useful add-ons for Zotero. Connector connects your browser of choice to your Zotero and allows for the seamless capture of reference information. You can get it for Firefox, Edge, Chrome and Safari at the Zotero Downloads Page.
You can find the plug-in for your preferred word processor here. The word processor plugin allows you to insert Zotero citations directly into your finished documents.
There are also a number of other plug-ins for Zotero. These are community developed tools that add or change Zotero functions or connect Zotero to other programs. You can browse plugins here. Plugins for common database and statistical software packages are included.
