Let me introduce you to Ziva and her partner Kristina. Ziva is a grey and white Siberian Husky who is 2 years old. Ziva was adopted at 6 months from a family that couldn't take care of her anymore.
Kristina and Ziva have been a registered Pet Partners team since September 2012. Ziva is very friendly and loves people and other dogs. Ziva is making visits to rehabilitation, assisted living, and retirement centers in the Mansfield/South Arlington area, and this is a very important part of this team’s life. They bring such joy to people who are lonely and seldom have visitors. It helps those having physical therapy by allowing them to pet and brush and give treats to the animals, thereby exercising their mobility.
Ziva's newest job is working every Tuesday with autistic and special needs kids at Anna May Daulton Elementary School. Ziva's small size and gentle, lovable personality make her the perfect fit for helping autistic children connect with their environment.
