"Reading a scientific paper can be a complex task". This kind of reading needs to be with reflection and critical thinking.
Initially, it is important to start by skimming the article to understand its structure and key features. Focus on identifying the main points as you read. Formulate questions before, during, and after reading, and draw inferences based on your experiences and knowledge. To enhance understanding and memory, take notes while reading. This handout elaborates on these strategies in detail.
