There are a number of open source resources available for labs and simulations. Below are few of the links that can be used to locate images, streaming videos for your courses.

MIT Open Courseware

Use the filter Sort Courses by, Filter by Feature, Filter by level to find appropriate resources for your course.

Skills Commons

SkillsCommons is a free and open online library containing free and open learning materials and program support materials for job-driven workforce development. The Open Educational Resources (OER) are produced by community colleges across the nation and can be found, reused, revised, retained, redistributed and remixed by individuals, institutions, and industry.

 
 

Repository of free textbooks

Use the advance search filter feature to get resources that best suit your course. Once logged in to Merlot under Other Attributes select Simulation in Material Types. Choose College General Ed/ Graduate School for Audience. You can also choose desired Technical Format. Click on Search. Merlot materials are most of the times openly licensed but it's better to check the copyright  license of the content you want to use.

Open textbooks are full, real textbooks, used by many faculty across the country, including here at UTA. They are licensed to be freely used, edited, and distributed. Many are also accompanied by customizable slides, test banks, and other supplemental materials. Visit the Open Textbook Library to browse additional open textbooks suitable for your classes.
