Purpose of this Guide

This guide is intended to help students in INSY 5337 quickly identify the most relevant scholarly databases for their research papers; it also provides tips for making the research process more efficient and keeping well-organized. Students attending the INSY 5337 library session will be able to:

  • perform a topic search in a relevant database
  • request items via interlibrary loan
  • organize research using a citation management tool
  • locate information about ACM and IEEE publication formats
  • create a bibliography in IEEE format
