Create a New Toolbox Using ArcCatalog
Right-click the folder or geodatabase and click
New > Toolbox.
Add Toolbox to ArcToolbox
Add Script to Toolbox
Create an ArcGIS User Form (GUI)
In the
Catalog
window or
ArcToolbox
window,
right-click the script
and click
Properties

Import sys
This module provides a number of functions and variables that can be used to manipulate different parts of the Python runtime environment.
sys.argv[ ]
The argv list contains the arguments passed to the script, when the interpreter was started. The first item contains the name of the script itself.
Sending Messages to ArcGIS
arcpy.AddMessage()
Use similar to print.
arcpy.AddMessage('Hi there ArcGIS user!')
