LaTeX in Engineering Sciences

To work with LaTeX, you’ll need a LaTeX editor. In particular, we'll be using Overleaf.

Outside of the workshop, you have several options. Online editors like Overleaf and Authorea (since ShareLaTeX has merged with Overleaf) are popular choices. Alternatively, you can install LaTeX on your local computer.

To start with Overleaf:

1. Visit www.overleaf.com.
2. If you don’t have an account, click "Register" at the top right and sign up with your email and a password.
3. If you already have an account, click "Log In" and enter your credentials.
4. Click the green "New Project" button.
5. Select "Blank Project" and name your project to begin.
