In teams of up to 4 members you will be allotted 6 hours to develop a functioning game. Partial submissions are accepted.

Is it mandatory to form teams? How many members does a team need?
It is not mandatory to form teams to attend the game design-a-thon. You can go solo at it. But, we have found that game design is more effective in a multi-skilled team. You get to discuss ideas, have multiple opinions on issues and expertise in different design areas. If you form a team, then the maximum team size allowed is four members per team.
What should I bring along?
Whatever you need to create. UTA Libraries will provide tabletop game materials, cards and dice on a first come first serve basis. Most important bring a good attitude!
*If winning game is a partial submission the winning team would be responsible for completing the development of the game for printing within an agreed upon timeframe.
