Since I was a young child I have loved learning. I realized I was good at school and received top grades throughout my life. I found I was a leader in classes and groups. I began working in an academic library in my first year of college and by the time I graduated, I had worked in every department. I received a Master’s in Business and a Master’s in Library and Information Science. Working my way up the ladder from Student worker to Unit manager, I found a calling in Interlibrary Loan (ILL). ILL is the department that collaborates with other libraries to obtain materials ILL is a fast paced, highly technological service, which has grown with advances in technology. A global information delivery and retrieval center, ILL is charged with obtaining materials from private and public sites around the world. Thriving in this environment, I have continued advancing in my career first as an Assistant Librarian in Florida and currently an Associate Librarian in Texas. I share my knowledge and skills, helping University faculty and students to obtain the information they need to learn develop and create unique knowledge, projects and materials. My goal was to build a world class information center that will be recognized for its quality in research circles throughout the world. If you have questions or need answers, feel free to contact me.
