First Year English Library Instruction Opportunities
This guide includes the library instruction curriculum currently offered at UT Arlington Library. As always, if there is a class you would like us to teach, but don't see it, let us know and we will work with you to develop what you would like.
To sign-up for library sessions, please contact Gretchen Trkay. Sessions are scheduled on a first come/first serve basis. We recommend that you select dates for instruction that correspond with student assignment due dates or the need for in-class use. If students attend sessions before they are aware of their assignment, it is difficult for them to recognize the purpose and value of the library session.
As always, if there are changes you would like us to make to the sessions or specific issues you would like us to address, just let us know. Also, if you have an idea for a session that you don't see here, just let us know and we will work with you to develop it.
When scheduling your instruction, please include your name, the course number, the section number, the date and time of instruction, and what session you would like to schedule.
