Ethnic Studies

This guide is narrowly focused on resources that are of interest to students researching Ethnic Studies.

"The National Association for Ethnic Studies was founded in 1972. It provides an interdisciplinary forum for scholars and activists concerned with the national and international dimensions of ethnicity. The Association welcomes scholars and teachers at all educational levels, students, libraries, civic and governmental organizations, and all persons interested in ethnicity, ethnic groups, intergroup relations, and the cultural life of ethnic minorities"

Ethnic Studies is inherently interdisciplinary and depending on your topic, you might draw on research in literature, sociology, psychology, political science, etc. To find the various Subject Guides focused on these disciplines,  please click HERE.
