Sophie’s partner is Debra Mansury. Debra and Sophie have been together for the past 2 years or the majority of Sophie’s young life. Sophie is a Shih Tzu and she is a very loving young dog. She has the biggest heart in the world and loves everyone – both people and other animals.
Sophie and Debra became registered with Pet Partners after completing training in December 2011. They began visiting rehabilitation, assisted living and retirement centers in the Mansfield/South Arlington area the beginning of 2012. They both feel so lucky to be doing this community service and the rewards provide feelings of peace and fellowship. Whenever Sophie and Debra make a visit to a facility, they feel how much comfort and joy they bring to the lives of others.
